
What is Havening Technique®?
Havening Technique® or Havening Touch, is a gentle, touch-based, psychosensory practice that helps release trauma, stress, and negative emotions. It works by altering the brain’s response to past experiences, thus freeing you from reacting in the present based on experiences in the past. It supports deep healing by calming the nervous system and freeing you from old patterns of behavior by literally restoring the traumatized neuropathways to homeostasis.
How do I know if it’s right for me?
Havening Touch can help you in your personal actualization and healing journey if:
You have worked with a counselor/therapist in the past but still feel stuck
You know why you are stuck but keep repeating patterns anyway
You “think” (rationalize) your emotions instead of feeling them
