FAQs

for Sacred Circles NC Spiritual Community

  • No. Sacred Circles NC is a non-denominational, interfaith, interspiritual community. We do not support or promote any particular faith, dogma, or doctrine.

  • Absolutely. We believe in being a respectful, INCLUSIVE community.

  • Not necessarily. Yes minister can have a powerful and sometimes negative connotation. However, the title and state recognized license allows us to perform services like marriages and other ceremonies. Don’t let the title scare you away.

  • Sunday Circles are donation based. We do not believe basic access to our community should be restricted because of budget or income, we keep the Sunday service donation based.

However there are many costs associated with running Sacred Circles, including space rental, marketing, supplies, and of course our time and talents. So any donations, no matter the size, are noticed, greatly appreciated, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

  • As of 2024, we are located within Soul Wellness, 500 S. Main St., Mooresville, NC.

  • Sunday Circles are conducted and overseen by one of Sacred Circle NC’s ministers. There will be opening announcements, a dedication, an introduction and expansion on the topic, open group discussion on the topic, and closing remarks with a ending dedication.

  • No. Come in whatever is comfortable to you from athleisure wear, to business casual, to “Sunday best” if that makes you feel good!

  • Yes absolutely!

  • Sunday Circle services are open to individuals of all ages. We welcome families to attend. With that being said, we do not have childcare available at this time. Children are welcome as long as they do not become a distraction to the group (running around, screaming, etc.).

We are aware that this might make attending a challenge for families. I will say, having raised four children myself (attending a very formal church service with 4 under 6 before devices!) it is possible for children to learn that this time is special. Kids are amazing learners! And there is space in the halls outside the room to “take toddlers on walks” if need be.

We encourage teens and young adults to join. We value their voice, perspective, and insight. Sunday Circle can be a great opportunity to open new avenues of communication for you and your family.
